What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, the town or postcode you give us, the service you select, your message, and any photographs you attach. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email we hold whatever you choose to tell us there.
Why we hold it
To reply to you, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote and carry out the work if you go ahead. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you have made, and performance of a contract once you accept a quote.
Who sees it
The enquiry reaches our email inbox. It is sent using an email delivery provider that processes the message on our behalf, and stored with our email provider. We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to completed work are kept for six years, which is the period we may need them for tax and for any guarantee claim.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising tracking and no third-party scripts, which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email gardensmadeperfect@outlook.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
